Got a nano for Christmas - Gimmie, Gimmie, Gimmie by Abba seems to be perfect for 30 spm. Any other spm songs would be welcome.

Look for one that will feed the beats directly into iTunes. Much easier than entering them manually.

Side note, for those who'd rather buy than steal: I highly recommend eMusic.com. It's a legit subscription service that gives you 65 downloads/month for a $15 monthly fee, or 90 downloads for $20. Their mainstream selection isn't that great, but if you like, say, jazz, or latin, or classical, or electronica, they've got a TON of stuff, and the files are plain old MP3s, not that stupid iTunes Music Store format. You can browse their entire library before you subscribe.

Also Using Anapod Explorer as an alternative to iTunes. Maybe they have a beat counter plug-in ...

I can also note that Pat Benatar's Greatest Hits is probably a little too energetic for casual rowing ... Yikes!
I too got a Nano for Christmas. It has really energized my rowing! I have not had any problems keeping my earphones in. Occasionally I wear a tobbagon when I row which really keeps them secure. It can be pretty cold her in the Smokey Mtns of TN. I row outside on a covered wrap-around porch. It is a heavenly place to row.
Susan
