Last night's full moon was very Halloweenish - all shrouded in clouds. I'm not a good enough photographer to have taken this photo, but it is a similar scene that I was treated to as I drove to a meeting last night. Moon looks and looked huge.

HOLIDAY CHALLENGE...
ImageImageImage

Our reindeer DO leap through the stars...

Several climate change oriented charities, and others, to choose to have your Holiday Challenge meters support this year...or you can have Concept2 choose the charity for you!

Meanwhile, speaking of things that fly, seemingly hundreds of geese flying overhead - there are some ponds near here, and several good sized fields for goose grazing. Quite the cacophony or maybe it's just a goose symphony! "Music" to do stats by!

100 K Holiday Erg Challenge ...the toughest two dollars you'll ever earn!

I think the Challenge Calculator is a new function on the Holiday Challenge portion of your logbook page. This is a nice feature! You can choose your desired Challenge goal, and then choose how many days you think you'll get an opportunity to erg. When you reach 100 K (200 K on yer bike erg), you'll have earned $0.02 per kilometer...or $2 toward the charity of your choice out of the many that Concept2 lists as qualifiers. After you've reached the 100 K holiday challenge meter milestone, you'll be earning $0.04 per kilometer. Naturally you'll want to reach the 200 K milestone, earn the $6 towards the Challenge charities goal, AND the coveted holiday challenge pin. Not to mention your reindeer and antler lights. Giddyup.

Chances are that many teammates in the US actually have a $2 bill in a drawer somewhere. Because you don't usually spend them. The stats say that these bills make up only one percent of the paper currency in circulation in the US.

Whoop, whoop and way to get to ANOTHER milestone! Congratulations, Warnie, on achieving TEN million lifetime meters! We wish you many, MANY more!

Not sure how the million meter prize calculations work when you are a three erg type contributor! I think you have to reach the milestone in a single erg division to get, for instance, the sweatshirt that's awarded here in the US for 10 MM. And then there's the not every country gives the same awards issue. It's complicated, but worthy!

Has anyone in this forum ever shipped a Concept 2 rower? If so what company did you use?

I need to ship one from NH to Florida and then back again.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
Louie
