We don’t have anyone from N and L on Flyers CTC roster. We can use you Wayne. Or (not mentioned above), you could use your OTW team as the core of a new CTC team

Just noticed the 16:41 elapsed for the RLR challenge! Impressive!

Gotta kiss a lot of frogs to keep the pond singing the tune. I hear of a big lunker wants to row, i swell up and croak: VACANCY—HEATED POOL—FREQUENT FLYER MILES—WE ARE NOT JUST SMALL FRY!!
“Forum Flyers Welcome All.” I’d like to recruit adaptive rowers. When I get the chance i won’t be changing pitch.

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
If they can’t be contacted for any reason can the November team choose October’s?
Rather that than have Dougie’s default 2km.

I hope that Joe Keating has that. I don't.CaseyClarke wrote: ↑September 28th, 2019, 7:46 amNope. Nothing on FB. I’m unsure who they even are. Do you have a contact name?
That's a question for Joe as well.CaseyClarke wrote: ↑September 28th, 2019, 7:49 amIf they can’t be contacted for any reason can the November team choose October’s?

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Simon Kemsley applied for the AIRC challenge back in July . I've messaged him today and hope to get a reply soon.
I should have done this earlier but have been laid low with the norovirus for the past couple of days; not a pleasant experience.
Regards,
Joe

Yeah, that is never good. At least it doesn't seem to linger too long, that is the only good thing about it. Hope you feel better soon

Simon has posted the October challenge by AIRC:
"Sorry for the late announcement! We have decided to keep it simple for October with the AIRC halloween howler. Row 666 metres from a standing start. A bit of a beast."
Regards,
Joe

Brilliant, thanks for that.
I hope you're over your norovirus infection.
Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
There's a double entry by one of the Gee Crew - Natalie Treblicock - positions 313 and 314, same time. That can't be right

Hmmm. Looks like a bug in the software. I've removed one entry.

Halloween Howler!
Mark of the Beast.
A Revelation!
Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!
Takes only a couple minutes of the Witching Hour so ——>
no excuses, you ghosts, goblins and ghoulies.
Noticed on page 1 of this thread (from 2016) that AIRC was on schedule to do this (a “Halloween 666”) in October of that yr. but appears that another team had the honors when October rolled round. There is an unattributed 666 in June 2007.
