Shawn Baker training
Shawn Baker training
Can we start a new thread for Shawn to post his training? I enjoy seeing the different sessions and the weight training. I'd prefer to see only Shawn's training here. If this thread is not acceptable feel free to delete it.
Re: Shawn Baker training

Re: Shawn Baker training
Shawn Baker has an Instagram blog for those who follow his progress. He's experienced firsthand the obsessional stalking and associated sociopathology that is tolerated on this board so think it has to be his decision.

Re: Shawn Baker training
Ha. I've just seen that the other thread has been locked due to Paul45s silly tantrums.
He spent years behaving exactly the same way on the old UK forum before it got shut down a few years ago.
I've given him a lot of time in the past but gave up with him years ago. He misunderstands a lot of what is discussed on these threads, and if there's even so much of a hint of constructive criticism towards him or any of his methods / ideas / opinions, etc, he'll throw all his toys out the pram and go on a long rant attacking people.
He'll never change.
Best avoided.
Skip over his blog and onto the next.

I'm sure they were happy to oblige.

Cool beans.
It would be nice if an admin could unlock Shawns thread now then. Absolutely no fault of Shawns that it got locked down in the first place... he should not suffer any consequences for others wrongful actions.

I sent a message to Dougie this morning when I saw Shawn's thread had been locked asking to have it unlocked as it is a great source of information and inspiration to people on this forum. I guess we will have to wait and see.Anth_F wrote:Cool beans.

Please note (AND NOTE WELL): If Paul45 disrupts this thread it will also be locked. I don't have enough time to waste trying to moderate the childish and pathetic sniping and bitching on this forum.

Paul45 has asked to have his account closed, why does Shawn's thread need to be locked?Citroen wrote:Please note (AND NOTE WELL): If Paul45 disrupts this thread it will also be locked. I don't have enough time to waste trying to moderate the childish and pathetic sniping and bitching on this forum.

Good-Bye Paul, unfortunate it didn't work out for you here. I feel for you, it must be very difficult to not understand why people respond to your communications in the way they do. I have seen instances of people provoking you a bit, but this was long after you initiated conflict and escalated situations. As the saying goes, live and learn.paul45 wrote:Dougie I will say this one more time.
Close my account now. Please and thank you.
How dare you.

Sounds like all is well now, looking forward to seeing continued updates if SB is up to it. Maybe we could reinstate Ranger to give his commentary?

The "curtain" has fallen on that chapter, Harmer
At the current time, the sprint thread remains locked. Give it time.

Re: Shawn Baker training
Unfortunate that some silliness has transpired- it's not appropriate that I have my own thread as this forum is not set up for training logs (although it would be nice if it were) good to see more people taking an interest in the sprints as the concept 2 it a pretty good platform to work on that side of the fitness equation

I really feel for Shawn on this matter.jackarabit wrote:The "curtain" has fallen on that chapter, HarmerAt the current time, the sprint thread remains locked. Give it time.
Paul should have been banned and all the garbage posts removed, thread cleaned up so to speak, the thread should have never been locked up.
Doug if you don't have time to moderate, why are you in such a position? It's your role and duty.
