All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 2.20.13

Post by Kona2 » February 21st, 2013, 11:32 am

Image And Navy still leads Army in the MIB flotilla !

426 participants in all of the rowing universe in the Military Challenge. That's just a little over 1 percent of all the rowers in Concept2 active data banks this year. We have 6 from our team who are on TDY to the Military Challenge - and that's four percent of our current total teammates. I guess I thought there would be more in the rowing universe with military service....

Season meters as of 295/365 = 114,960,118 m

Total meters on the day = 287,464 m

Oars in space (participation) = 19 percent

I have to be a braggy newbie, and I am sure many of you have already done this and do it regularly, but this is my first 100K month! I started rowing in earnest on January 7, and got my own C2 at home a few weeks ago and I love it. Glad to be a part of the Luna-Tics team!

Congrats :D I've only been rowing since October and it never ceases to amaze me how folks on this team are managing 200-400,000-meters a month and more

Best,

Good job, Kerry!

Danno ... I just found out what TDY means to you military types. The way AJ started off the month, rowing, I assumed it was Temporarily Divorced for a Year.

"Temporarily Divorced for a Year"...that's a good one, Chris! With the meters AJ is getting in you are not far off!

I was TDY for 6 months in Honduras...

Image Hooboy! The countdown has begun...7 MORE days!

Gotta say that I have seen the MIBs designed for Kristine and for Eric...and they are worth putting in those meters to reach them (just about a full marathon's distance for Kristine...who has been in the jungle, the mighty jungle...and a little more distance for Eric A...). Milestones completed: Richard T has hit the 850K milestone, AJ has 400K, Danno is riding the waves in his MIB between 300 and 350K buoys, and Kristine is at 150K. Eric A is almost to 150K, and Mike M is working on 100K! There is STILL time! To the MIBs!!

Meanwhile, Dan E has signed on for the 2013 rowing season. Welcome back !
