The weather cooperated for the morning; it was beautiful. I have blisters on both hands, and my arms and legs are tired! Lots to think about when adding in rows to the whole equation! Now, how to enter the meters???? I know I get credit for something, the soreness tells me so! But it would all be a guestimate. Out on the water for over an hour; didn't row the full time, well, I guess 3000m would be very conservative. How does one estimate meters OTW anyway??????

We lost 8 members yesterday. I am sorry if it is something that I wrote that has offended someone. I do think we should support our troops though.
If you would rather have another team captain please let me know.

I don't think that would have been the reason. I'm sure everyone, even if you don't believe in war, still support the troops. We have no problem with you as Captain. Think you're doing a fine job.

I think you are doing a GREAT job, Jim. It's always easy to let your mind wander when people drop off an online team without saying anything, but I wouldn't worry about it. I used to help lead an online gaming team and that sort of thing just happens. Needs change, real life gets in the way, etc. and there's usually less communication on leaving an online team than on a non-online one... it's the nature of the internet. Just keep doing what you are doing and know its appreciated. :D

Just a reminder that Summer sweeps begins todays. I think if you row 5000 meters each day or as many as possible during the months of June , July, and August you can qualify for some prizes. Please check the challenge page on C2. I am not good at figuring out how to copy it to the forum. Should have been born in the 18 or 19 th century.
Technology has left me behind. :?

Challenges
Summer Sweeps

June, July and August

Row or ski 5000 meters as many days as you can during the months of June, July and August. On ten randomly selected days throughout the months of June, July and August we will draw a winner's name from everyone who rows or skis at least 5000 meters that day. Indoor rower, on water, SkiErg, and on snow meters count.
