Thanks Stu, to get technical I use a different technique in all last 500s when I'm trying to PB after a tip on these pages. Hands very fast in and out, low at the finish with no lean back

It allows me to up the spm just when I need it. I'm not sure it's sustainable for an entire 2k or longer but I've never tried it. Maybe I should.

Today my last missing row for my season goal: first serious HM TT to reach 95th percentile of my group.
To get this goal the minimum required pace was 1:54. My recent 60min was at 1:50.9, so I decided to go for target pace 1:52 with aim to go as flat as possible.

Went really well and reached 1:18:40.1:

Code: Select all

Time	Meters	Pace	Watts	Cal/Hr	S/M	♥️
1:18:40	21,097m	1:51.8	250	1160	25	170
7:24.9	2,000m	1:51.2	254	1175	25	167
7:26.2	2,000m	1:51.5	252	1167	25	168
7:26.5	2,000m	1:51.6	252	1166	25	169
7:26.5	2,000m	1:51.6	252	1166	25	171
7:27.5	2,000m	1:51.8	250	1160	25	171
7:31.0	2,000m	1:52.7	244	1140	25	172
7:29.3	2,000m	1:52.3	247	1149	25	172
7:29.8	2,000m	1:52.4	246	1147	25	169
7:30.1	2,000m	1:52.5	246	1145	25	170
7:26.6	2,000m	1:51.6	251	1165	27	173
4:01.7	1,097m	1:50.1	262	1200	29	174
Even if it doesn't look like, but the last 6k were really a hell 😅

Thank you, guys 😎

Stu, HR was really stable and was not an issue, but at around 12k my glutes started to get itchy and a bit sore. Strength left the game more and more to the end and I struggled much to hold the target pace 😂

HornetMaX, with consistent training you can eventually get there as well! But I am also a bit amazed by the fact that I could hold the splits like that 😅
