We welcome everyone!!! Love to have new members join. We're an open team so just click on TEAMS at the top of your logbook page. Then select us from the list of teams listed under Choose a team!
You don't have to belong to us during the year to be part of the JVC challenge. (But if you do want to join us all year round feel free to choose us as your team in your profile.)

The sheep wanted to welcome back all the rowers who have rowed with us previously:
The amazing Liz! She already has put her oars in the water!
Adena & Moolanie!
Scott!
and last but not least Miryam, who promises to start rowing the minute she returns home on Jan 6th.
They also welcome Tyler, their first cat member, to the Ewe Row! cheering squad! Tyler promises not to keep his human from rowing this January.

I hope my team mates are racking up the meters and just not entering them online yet. I've been trying to work off a few of those holiday treats, and so far it's working.
Here are some technicolor sheep to get you inspired!
Happy New Year!

Welcome back Chuck!!!!
Thanks for the sheep and the encouragement! I started my residency - and if you take a few days off - they put you on call right away when you get back! I'll try to catch up next weekend!
The sheep link of the day is a link to the
http://www.sheepcafe.de/ January calendar which can be printed out. A perfect way to record your daily meters with friendly sheep encouragement!!! (Please only use this for personal use per the website request. Thanks!)

JVC Day 17
woohoo!
Current team meters: 156,877
We jumped in the small (1-5 member) virtual club rankings: from 44 to 36!
The ewe row cheering squad waits with baited breath for Chuck to cross JVC 100,000 m mark. He's so very close!
And they want to give Scott a big cheer for hitting the 300,000 regular season meter mark!!! They brought out some leftover New Year's Champagne to celebrate!

Other 'mates feel free to affiliate with us for year round rowing too!

I broke the 100Km mark this morning, 104,648 to be precise!
I refrained from painting myself blue as they did in November for the St. Andrew's celebration in Scotland.
They have been given the coating of animal-friendly paint by farmer Andrew Jack in a West Lothian field.
The blue vision is a head-turner for drivers on the Edinburgh-Glasgow motorway, which runs alongside the field.
"They make a lot of people smile on their way along the M8,"
The full story of the blue sheep is here:
