West coast rowers

Post by Big Chris » July 23rd, 2009, 11:29 am

Just checking to see if anyone on the the mountian or pacific time zones works out with row pro.

I have a hard time during the week getting others to row with be cause everyone back east and over the pond seem to be done already.

Have been rowing at 6:30 pm pst with 2 others but it would be nice if the group was bigger

Any takers?

Chris :D

I wish I could, but in the summer time by the time 6:30pm rolls around here in Silicon Valley, my un-air-conditioned home is about the least-welcoming place to row I can possibly imagine! :)

I usually row around lunchtime with Pam and some of the UK folks but if I ever need to get a late one in I'll look for you folks; it's good to know you're there. Chad Goss also does weekly sets at 4:30 our time if you're ever home early; he's got a group of at least 5-6 people typically, IIRC.

As I think about this, it would be sort of cool if DR put a graphical calendar of scheduled rows up on their site adjusted for the user's local time, so one could see what was scheduled at a glance.

I'll sign up too!

I'm currently trying to map my evening rowing schedule around my kids soccer practices (3 kids all playing this year), but hoping to find a few days a week to do rows between 6-7:30. I'll watch for your rows online and might even set up a few myself (for the really slow rowers like me  ).

Would be glad to have you join Cool Wind. BTW I love Oregon Wine Country. Went to the stomp at Williamette Valley this weekend and filled a gallon
