16.4lbs. to go...
Well, I gained 1.6lbs. This, and that I danced three times this week (salsa dancing) besides an extra day of rowing. I also added 2 :30 pilates workouts. Go figure. I am also following weight watchers, so I keep track of everythinhg I eat.
I have two choices: I can beat myself up and stress over what has gone wrong (again) or, I can keep working hard and focusing on how good I feel. I figure if I keep going I will eventually get rid of this menopause spare tire.
I refuse to quit.
I'm worth it.
TIll next week,
Barbara

Where are you Barbara???
How is it going Barbara? Where are you. Tell me you are still going strong. I hope you can help to motivate me. I have been on vacation for about ten days and bad for the other three.

I hit a point where those last 15 were so slow then I remembered it was 6 weeks before My body would even give up the first 5lbs.
Keep the faith. I was pretty big and I had a heck of a time. I had to burn more than I ate to get rid of the last 5lb. about 2000 cal a day.

No I had to burn up about 2k aday more than I ate. I ate very small meals. no empty cals. Rowed Walked did all kinds of cardio extra efforts.
I was rowing 8-10k a day. 6k per hour is about my average. I am a bit of a turtle.

Still!
That is still pretty impressive both in terms of the discipline needed to imbalance your metabolism by 2000 cal per day and the commitment to finish what you started. Good job!
