SkiErg PM5 and RowPro will not work - anyone ?

I am looking for SkiErg users bought them with PM5 and tried using it with RowPro. SkiErg's PMs have slightly different version of firmware (ver. 715) and my PM5, although recognized by RowPro 4.2 does not let me setup a rowing session. I get a connection signal (green square) and I can move the rower on the screen while erging , but when I go to Session Setup and select any distance, pressing Row button generates an error message that PM is not connected. May I ask SkiErg's users to download a trial version of RowPro and give me a shout if their PM5s work with RowPro ? This seems to be an issue with firmware, since a RowErg PM5 works with RowPro just fine. Thanks in advance.

I have exactly the same issue with PM5/ skierg, with both versions of the firmware 715 and 716.

Thank you Anne. I have emailed Concept2 about this. I hope they will address the issue.

And I have talked to Pam from RowPro about it too. In the mean time, I might do what I think you did: swap the PM5 on my skierg and the PM4 on my erg. Or maybe just put my old PM3 on the skierg.

I just installed the free trial version of RowPro for Mac (version 2) and it works with the PM5 on my skierg, including for online sessions. I hear there is a new version for Windows coming out in a few months, so maybe that one will work with the skierg PM5 also ... good news for me as I was getting tired to switching to my old PM3 whenever I wanted to ski online.
