I just rowed 10K!!!!

Post by klinked » July 29th, 2007, 4:59 pm

It took me over an hour and I had to break it into 5k/2k/2k/1k

stages but I am feeling very smug here and wanted to share.

No pain

Post by klinked » July 30th, 2007, 9:21 am

I thought I was going to hurt today but I don't feel bad at all.

I am on vacation this week so I think I will try to do 10k every day. :)

I'll try 2kx5 today.

The second 10K was a little harder

Post by klinked » July 30th, 2007, 3:34 pm

I did

2k/2k/1k/2k/2k/1k

This stuff is hard but I keep reading of all the others who have lost weight and I want to lose weight. dammit.

I believe the key to weight loss is two-fold
- regular excercise (at least 3 times every week), at a medium intensity pace ( not an easy pace, but you should be able to hold a conversation without blacking out :-) )
- stay away from the crap food, empty calories, those things we all love!!!

Cheers!

Congratulations on 10K! Keep up the great work and the pounds will come off. I seem to be losing weight at a bit over a pound per week.

I was talking myself out of rowing today ( cuz that laundry is such a work out) but your post inspired me to go any way. Thanks!
