Tendonitis
How many people would suggets cycling to me for the off-season? I ride my bike with my dad about every weekend on average for 5-7 miles everytime out. Also, does anyone have any suggestions for cheap, but well built road bikes, as I would like to get one.

RE:Sorry
The title was not meant to be tendonitis, but instead, Cycling.

Cycling is fabulous cross training. It's great for building the leg strength for rowing. You will probly need more than 7 miles to get a lot of benefit out of it tho. (unless those 7 miles are all uphill)
As for the road bikes, I can't recommend a specific one, but a great way to find one cheap is to buy one used. Craigslist is a great place to look.
A used bike should do you just fine, I just got my first road bike last spring, it's probly about 15yrs old, but was well taken care of and was good enough to let me win the state TT championships. I paid $500 for it.
Just whatever you do absolutely make sure you WEAR A HELMET. My dad wouldn't be alive today if it weren't for helmets.
Hope this helps,
Heather
