Acronyms! For the new people!
Everything sport seems to has its own jargon. Erging appears to be no different. I see LOTS of interesting acronyms flung around on the forum and being new I have no idea what some of them are. I am sure others have the same problem? A lot of forums have a post similar to this one that defines what these acronyms are. I will edit and update this post regularly if people wish to contribute or it seems useful to others.

F55 / 5'7" / 160lbs as of Feb 19, 2008 / Muscular but need to lean up / Shooting for 135lbs
LP = low pull - lowest /500 split you can pull. I think many use the average of 5 consecutive power strokes taken from a flying start. Puts lots of stress on the lower back and tends to encourage exagerated poor technique , both increase risk of injury, so a fair number of us have never done one.
