Just to let my friends on the other side of the pond that at 7:40am on Saturday 5 March 2005 I completed 40million meters on the erg. I straed counting on 28 March 2000 and hit 40million meters during a 23000m training row(22700m mark).
My next target is to hit the 50million meters mark within the next year.
Thanks to all who have given me their support over the years.
roadrunner
(I thought I remembered originally by around this past xmas, but I'm not sure.)
Anyways, that is a heck of a lot of erging, and I know that you have done it in quite a short time as well. That's a large mean meters, and time, to be putting in everyday!
Good luck on the 50 Mm. (Another 10 Mm in just a year , I'm tired just thinking about it .)

I think that deserves a special one-of-a kind t-shirt from C2, which would be the first of a great new incentive. The inscription could be a plug for C2 as well, something like "Concept2, the leader in rowing -- around the world."

How about it C2Bill?

- ralph
