Re: Alexandria results?
For virtual I have found things like this: https://regatta.time-team.nl/usrowing-i ... 3383b2.php. Nothing that has times from NWErgomania.
Nice talking to you today, Mark. And, now that you've reminded me, I do recall meeting you on an airplane.

Links are all here, including to an overall result page that has incomplete results and says it will be finalized by Tuesday.

Re: Alexandria results?
I really wonder why they didn't break out the lightweights from the beginning.

Re: Alexandria results?
I'm not quite sure what you were looking at, but my understanding is that ErgSprints offered lightweight options, but US Rowing did not. So lightweights could weigh in and compete for lightweight ErgSprints medals, and the lightweight 2k/500m are compiled with the rest of the US Rowing Indoor Championship 2k/500m (open weight) to determine placement there.gregory.cook wrote: ↑February 5th, 2024, 3:23 pmI really wonder why they didn't break out the lightweights from the beginning.

Re: Alexandria results?
Here are the entries in my category for the virtual race: https://www.regattacentral.com/regatta/ ... ent_id=132 They clearly know who the lightweights are. But here are some results from the Virtual race combined with the Tacoma race where they are all listed together: https://regatta.time-team.nl/usrowing-i ... 7f63b8.php.

Re: Alexandria results?
I am now doubly confused. A lightweight friend was trying and failing to figure out how to register as a lightweight, I couldn't figure it out either, so he entered and competed in the open category. But I see what you mean in the results!gregory.cook wrote: ↑February 5th, 2024, 6:21 pmHere are the entries in my category for the virtual race: https://www.regattacentral.com/regatta/ ... ent_id=132 They clearly know who the lightweights are. Re: Alexandria results?
In the other Time-Team results (Tacoma and Virtual are the two I looked at), they do have lightweights broken out. I don't know why it isn't in the National Championship Time-Team results. I can't really determine if the Alexandria results break out lightweights (none in your E or my H categories, which is unusual, but they do have it broken out for the J category - Great Job, Rick (yankeerunner)!).
But USRowing did say it will all be finalized by Tuesday. Stay tuned, I guess.
Anyway, Greg, right now, it looks like you are on the top step of the Podium! Congrats!

Thanks Mark. After three rather lackluster years with minor injuries and winter illnesses things have gone well this winter and I'm getting my fastest times in a while.Cyclist2 wrote: ↑February 5th, 2024, 11:39 pmIn the other Time-Team results (Tacoma and Virtual are the two I looked at), they do have lightweights broken out. Me too. Lost 2+ years having two shoulders rebuilt. Feels good to be getting back.Yankeerunner wrote: ↑February 6th, 2024, 10:18 amThanks Mark. After three rather lackluster years with minor injuries and winter illnesses things have gone well this winter and I'm getting my fastest times in a while.

And yes, Arlene is the gold medal winner also! I had too many results pages loaded, missed that. A couple strong rowers up on Bainbridge. Congratulations!

Lightweight Events
There are lightweight rowing opportunities for Masters and U23 individuals at the 2024 USRowing
Virtual Indoor National Championships.
Upon registering for a Masters or U23 Event, lightweight Masters or U23 athletes will self-select the
lightweight designation button on RegattaCentral. This designation button signifies that the masters or
U23 athlete who selected it ensures they will meet the lightweight requirements, as stated below, for
Masters or U23 athletes, on the day of the event, February 3rd, 2024.
On February 3rd, 2024, all Masters and U23 lightweight athletes that self-selected the lightweight
designation button are required to email competition@usrowing.org an email with a video of the
Masters or U23 athletes’ showing the competitors face, then showing the competitors scale proving
that they have met weight, and then showing a cell phone or computer that shows the timestamp of
February 3rd, 2024. This video must be taken on February 3rd, 2024, starting at 12:01 a.m. ET and
ending no less than 2 hours before the athletes’ race time. These videos will be checked to ensure
accuracy.
On race day, February 3rd, 2024, all athletes (Masters or U23) that self-selected the designation of
lightweight will see the word “lightweight” next to their name as they race and on the results. Upon
completion of each event, the results will show the lightweight athletes mixed in with the open weight
athletes, all in rank order. The top 3 Masters and U23 lightweight athletes will be awarded additional
medals in each category. Masters or U23 lightweight athletes who finish top three in the original event
and finish top three in the Masters or U23 lightweight event will be awarded two medals.
If the athlete does not make weight on February 3rd, 2024, they are required to self-report that they
should no longer be designated as lightweight. This notice should be sent to
competition@usrowing.org no later than 2 hours before race time.
If it is reported that the lightweight status was not made and met the above criteria, the Masters or
U23 athlete is allowed to participate in the original event, without the lightweight designation.
(1) A men’s lightweight Rower shall not weigh more than 165 lbs.
(2) A women’s lightweight Rower shall not weigh more than 135 lbs.
Now we wait and see if it gets done. So far on the leaderboard they are not showing lightweights.

Re: Alexandria results?
Well.....I got the big wrap-up email from US Rowing today at 3pm CT, with a link to the "official 2024 USRowing Indoor National Championships Leaderboard." Yes, I think the overall multi-venue event is going to be a GREAT model, with a lot of success to build upon.
But nope, no separate identification of Lightweights yet----even though all three live events (Pittsburgh, Tacoma, and Alexandria) duly recognized and recorded LW participants. My weigh-in card in Alexandria was even signed by a USRowing official. While I can scrub through the other events and cobble together my own LW leaderboard, that is not very welcoming/inclusive.
So, is it over/done and swept under the rug, or TBD??

I got the same thing this morning. The zip code they had was wrong, so I corrected it. One to two business weeks. I'm looking forward to it (them).gregory.cook wrote: ↑February 13th, 2024, 2:14 pmI just received an email from USRowing containing these words:
