knee rehab

Post by david_e » July 12th, 2023, 8:32 am

I'd be interested to hear from people who have use a BikeErg for knee operation rehabilitation. In particular is the minimum damper setting too much for post-op work where you are simply trying to get the knee working again without resistance? I want to get a BikeErg but am unsure whether it will be too much for the early recovery phase. Thanks

I went ahead with the Bike Erg and am happy to confirm that it has proved to be great for post op knee rehab. In particular the clutch that allows you to stop pedalling instantly is so much better than a normal spin bike.

Great to hear. I've not tried a BikeErg for regular training or rehab. Have you tried a standing position like when doing high resistance on a spin bike? Is it even possible?

Thanks and best wishes for a faster recovery!
