Suunto's "SuuntoPlus API"

As an owner of Suunto watches i have always desired a connection between the PM5 to Suunto Watch, similar to what Coros watches have done.
Recently Suunto have made available to partners & business (i believe) an API that allows companies to make a connection of some sort; I am not sure of its capabilities, but it would be great if Concept2 made use of the API to broadcast the PM5 data to a Suunto watch, or indeed Suunto make the connection similar to what Coros have done.
