Ergdata - why doesn't ergdata have resting heart rate?

Post by Swanage Diver Dan » November 22nd, 2022, 5:00 pm

Hi All. The ergdata app is pretty good but ....

c2 are including heart rate zones and using age and max heart rate to calculate where your zones should be.

Why aren't they using resting heart rate and max heart rate zone to make a more accurate calculation of your heart rate reserve instead and then working out the zones from that?

Hi, c2 decided to stick to max heat rate zones, not based on HRR.
In the end these zones are only best guess, so it does not really matter what type of zones you use.
