Skierg defect

Post by shikyo » March 9th, 2022, 7:39 pm

I purchased a Skierg and received it today. I installed it on my office space wall.
It came with a minor defect so I of course let the support team know.
The right hand side panel of main body is not fitted properly and the front upper edge of the panel is about 1/4” sticks out. There is a gouged line along the front edge. I think the panel was once damaged and fixed not well and repainted. Do you think it is common defect? I asked for a replacement panel. I tried to put a photo, however, I couldn’t manage.
I just tried for 15 minutes and have felt much harder than rowerg. I started rowing in July 2020.

Hope you get it fixed.

The Skierg is a whole new ball game compared to the rower.....quite different in muscles it hits hard. Persevere and it's a great workout.

Thank you..
Yes, they are sending me a replacement panel. The most of days, I do 10,000 meters on rowerg and I have now added 2,000 meters on skierg since two days ago

I removed the panel trying to figure out if something is wrong with it, however, I couldn’t see anything seems to be wrong with it. I am not truly sure until I get the replacement. I am now wondering the whole main body part is somewhat not well formed ..
If that is the case there must be many skiergs like mine…

Now PM5 monitor is acting up and doesn’t pick up my heart rate signal. I know it isn’t problem with heart rate monitor itself since it works with the RowErg. I have tried a dozen times with the SkiErg, however, the results were the same. The PM5 on the SkiErg says “connected”. The monitor sometime shows error message “this PM5 may have a problem”.

Send an email to info@concept2.com to ask for advice. It may be a warranty replacement.

Thank you, Citroen
Yes, I have done by sending emails.
I am now a little worried sending them too many of them.

They are sending me a replacement PM5 and a side panel. I hope those solve my problems.
