British Record 30-39LWT Men 6000m

Post by RR » April 26th, 2021, 2:34 pm

And so it continues
Jordan Hislop smashed the British Record for 30-39LWT Men over 6000m tonight
20:17.4 Ave 1:41.4/500.
53 seconds faster than previous best
Third Record in 2 days
Reckons he could have gone sub 20 if he was fresh!
66 going on 67. One time full on erger. Now Erging and BikeErging.
LWT is the norm.
6:38.7 was a longtime ago

Why the hurry David? Man is clearly well trained and ready but setting those records as sharp as possible would be nice?

No hurry Henry, he just wants to do it this week before end of the season.
Then he’ll get back on the interval training and do them all again next year.
First time he has gone for them seriously, but he has had a good year of training

Base must be good indeed. Maybe looking at otw? I know he erged earlier, but if I am not mistaken never long, should be sub 6.20 level or close and thats getting serious for a lightweight.

Henry,
He won’t go on the water, like me, an individual and means tying in with pre-determined times for training. He has the equipment at home and trains at times when it suits his lifestyle.
He erged a few years ago when he was a student, 6:28.7 as 18yo LWT(4th British Students Indoor Champs around 2009)
66 going on 67. One time full on erger. Now Erging and BikeErging.
LWT is the norm.
