Hi all,
I have just upgraded to a PM5. So I have for sale my PM4, which is in good working order & 'as new' condition externally .
This will come with data card and a heart rate receiver for Polar equipment. Photos are available £75 + postage.
Please PM me if interested.

You need to post the firmware version from the product ID screen. This will tell the buyer if it's a first or second version of the PM4. The second version is a reliable monitor the first version is now getting pretty old. The firmware probably needs updating as nobody does it and its free to do using the utility you can download from the concept 2 website.

Thanks Carl for your tip.

The Firmware version on the PM4 is: 332. Hardware version: 331.
I have had no problems at all with the PM4 since new, and have only updated to PM5 for the extra 'bells & whistles'.

Cheers, Chas.

That means it IS the later (post 2008) model of PM4 which doesn't have the problem with crashing due to static (a problem first noticed at the 2007 British Indoor Champs where one rower touching a button on their PM4 crashed the whole bank of 40 connected PM4s). The PM4A with the hardware fix was used at the British in 2008.

Thank you Citroen for that confirmation. Like I said, I’ve never had any problem with that PM4 and seeing as I have not had an opportunity to spend any money on holidays this year I thought I would splash out on a PM5.
Cheers, Chas.

Don't mention holidays.

My three weeks visiting my daughter, her partner and the grandkids has been scuppered in three ways.
1. Australia requires you to live in a quarantine hotel (without being allowed out of your room) for 14 days for AUD$3000 on arrival.
2. Thailand is closed to foreigners (we had a three day layover in Bangkok planned).
3. We'd booked through STA Travel which went bust in August (thankfully we'd not paid the final balance).
