Retro fit pm5 to C2 model C

Afternoon all, i have recently purchased a model C rower and unfortunately the monitor is damaged (battery leakage). I have looked through the forum for advice on a new or upgraded monitor and have seen mentioned a “retro fit kit” for a pm 5.
Is this worth getting and (if so) where do i get one? Cheers
