Upper image = Model D

Lower Image = Model E

D is lower to the ground and has an adjustable arm to support the PM
D legs are constant cross-section and the plane of leg sheet metal is normal to the direction of motion of the seat

E rail is higher and has a fixed box-section support arm for PM
E legs are tapered and the plane of sheet metal is parallel to direction of motion of seat

More information for the OP:

That's a Model D (and a model with bad form)

She can jump on my rower anytime and go back and fourth, up and down or whatever she wants to do on it.

https://www.concept2.com/service/indoor ... -d#updated

It's from 2010 as you thought.

The blue/grey paintwork was replaced in 2012. The PM3 was replaced in 2014.
