Post by Ago77 » November 19th, 2018, 11:29 am

HI Guys I'm AGostino from Italy.

I just bought a Row Concept 2 Model E. My aim is weight loss. Can you help my in a Monthly program?

Welcome Agostino.

The interactive training programmes have a weightloss version which might be helpful.

Also, have a read through some of the older posts in the Weight loss section. This one in particular looked quite well supported.

Hi, welcome to the forum. :)

Have you rowed before? If not, I would suggest that you not jump immediately into a specific program.

Take a few weeks to 1) Get your rowing technique down, and 2) Get your body used to this new type of exercise.

Good luck - if you keep at it you will see good results.

If you have a large over-weight problem and are new to rowing, it could be best to start using arms and swing only. This is much simpler than using the slide, which requires specific coordination and sequences, but can still let you develop considerable power and so offer fitness and weight loss.

It's called fixed seat rowing, and all oarsmen do it before moving on to slides, and for warm-up too.

Non mollare e buon divertimento.
