I’m guessing the chevron arrangement of rowers on the men’s elite race was chosen for economical race interconnection?

it looks pretty efficient Jack and it looks like a lot of the races are done that way - it gives everyone a better view of the big screen I guess as well as the connection advantage. There is also a record of the full streaming on youtube as well. I couldn't see the results anywhere unfortunately.

Not a full set of results but has the top 3-5 in a few of the races here http://www.worldrowing.com/news/murray- ... ing-champs.

Murray came 5th in 6:27.2 - Open Men winning time was 6:08.1

Well spotted Rohan. it would be cool to go and pretty easy from here in Oz but not enough old guys to make it worthwhile from the look of things. (but a good excuse for a holiday in an amazing country)
