Hello
i have a problem with my PM5 . It dosen't let me connect my belt or phone it just says error 886.
And uninstaling the firmware dosen't help either now it shows error 2220-15 or 2220-5.

What firmware version is it? If less than V22 then start with an upgrade to V22.

Then you'll need to call your local Concept2 dealer for support.

I've got the same problem.
The nice folks at the dealer suggested that this is possibly a firmware bug. The solution is to leave out the batteries for at least a minute.
That works for me and I now store the machine without the batteries. The problem seems to re-occur when I reset the clock, which doesn't update properly anymore. As I now do all of my rows using RowPro V5 online, not having a time or date set doesn't bother me.
Also discovered during the correspondence with the dealer that the error report of a broken sensor wire is incorrect because my unit will work perfectly without batteries.
And that the random rebooting is down to not having the correct PM5 battery cover - this is reported on their website with a free upgrade.
I'll upload any further information as it comes in....

Error 886 problem solved for me by a new PM5 unit replaced under warranty by Concept2.
