I want to purchase a used Model D but cannot make head or tail of the year based on the info given to me by the seller.

Can someone tell me what year this is?

I was expecting to see a "/" in the serial number based on what I'd read elsewhere. Also, what the seller is the serial number does not exactly seem correct.

The date codes can be a bit strange sometimes and the later versions of the PM3 made in 2009 had stickers on the outside of the case that don't seem to line up with the datecode in memory. The main thing is it is a 2005 machine. they may have one to many zeros in the serial number.
