C Breeze

Does everyone that has the C breeze love it?
I use a fan but this sounds interesting and quieter.
Thanks for your comments

Yes they are pretty good but of course the airflow is a bit limited and its also related to your pace.

Hard to beat also having a fan going putting fresh air into the room.

Its better than having nothing at all.

I have always loved it.
It makes a big difference, and I can take it with me if I happen to go to a gym.

Most people rave about them. I hate to be "that guy" but the C-Breeze didn't do much for me. I found it a faff to install, and when up and running it was blowing air onto one side of me. At the end of a workout I'd look like an antiperspirant ad - one side dripping, the other dry. I am however the world's least practical man so quite possible that I was doing it wrong.

The company should have modified it to fit a D, it would actually work better on a D than a C if you modified it with cutouts in the canvas to clear the "bridges" and run just the elastic under the bridge, would make it impossible to come off as well because on the C it needs to be quite tight or on a 500M sprint its going to come off.

I have a C, and it works great there.
When I have used it on a D at a gym, it is much trickier to put on. Once I get it on, however, it works well.
I am always dripping at the end of a workout, but I can go a little faster, as I don't get so overheated as without it, or without a fan.

I have one that I used for a while on my Model C. It's a clever idea and you can definitely feel the air, but I wouldn't call it great.

I just checked the price, and at $44 shipped I think I'd rather spend my money on a good fan and the electricity to run it a few hours a week (which won't be much). I bought mine well over 10 years ago, and the price must have been much less back then.

IMO the only situation to get one would be if 1) The room in which you're going to be rowing doesn't get that warm, and 2) the layout of the room is such that you really can't leave the fan standing there between workouts, and you just don't have a convenient place to store it during that time, so you'd really prefer a rower-mounted cooling device. Otherwise, get a decent, not too loud fan.

Just ride harder and you’ll quickly forget about the breeze.

Have moved to a 3 speed industrial floor fan thats about 750mm in diameter. Should have done it years ago it makes a big difference to your performance.

Been using it for 10 years+ now. It's been an excellent gadget for my model E in my garage once the weather warms up above 10degC.

Just tightened up the elastics and no slipping off during sprints bits is a rather good bonus too!!

It does need huge amounts of precise tweaking to get it exactly in the right place to hit face and body, evenly. Once done right it is a lifesaver.

Fans? Hmm, perhaps I need a fan :) SHMBO is not a rowing fan !!
