Hi all,
I just bought a new model D (it arrived last week from c2) and am having some serious vibration issues with my rower. When I pull at a strong pace and the chain retreats back from my chest the rower vibrates and vibrates the entire floor. I live on the 14th floor of an apartment in NYC and the neighbor downstairs complained that she can hear it. I've been rowing for a bit at the gym and don't think it's a problem with my form or the damper setting (it's on 5).
I apologize that this is a repeat topic because I have looked through the forums about this and have seen other people with the problem. I thought this was a unique situation given that the rower is brand new from the factory. Does anyone have an opinion on if it should be making this much of a vibration or if its the thin floors in the apartment? I bought some matting from Home Depot and that helped a little but if I pull at a pace faster than 2:20 / 500m (!) it will still vibrate too loud for people below. Any advice would be appreciated.
