Try removing DirectX10 and replacing it with DirectX9.

DirectX is the Microsoft Windows component to do pretty graphics.

You need to fall back to version 9 which you can download from.

In that case visit http://digitalrowing.com and send an email to the developers for support.

Pete at digital rowing will hopefully help. But, do you know what kind of graphics card you have? Look that up, then search for the drivers for that, and update to the latest version. Many brand new computers come with out of date drivers. As Citroen says, you need to install Direct X 9. I don't think it hurts to have 10 on the computer, but RP uses version 9.

You need a reasonable graphics card and I have stayed with 3.012 as my graphics don't work with the latest version V3.016 for some reason even though I have the latest video card driver and version of Direct X

Hi, first i did download Direct X 9 version, my graphicscard is ok said the guy from the shop where i bought my Laptop ( ACER 7540G).
Situation now is that i can row in 3D but only in "static water" and not in "living water"wich i think its ok. If i try the "living water" the water turns into white, perhaps its milk?? ;-)

Perhaps when i buy a permanent licence from rowpro the problem is solved.

Thanks for your sugestions, and see ya on rowpro, but not to fast please!!!

If you have the dedicated graphics card Radeon HD 4570 (which at a glance was listed in the specs for that Acer), you should certainly be good to go with full graphics and moving water.

If you haven't updated the graphics card driver, you really should do that, since that is most likely the solution. I don't know anything about this site, and you should make sure you actually have this card, but here is an example of a place to download drivers for that card:

http://www.pcpitstop.com/drivers/downlo ... ~4570.html

I usually would download drivers from the manufactor, but couldn't find that, but only spent 3 min looking. But you should look around some more.

The rowing on milk, or as I prefer to call it rowing on ice can be solved in the graphics advanced settings in RowPro. It's either turn on or turn off the "Use Minimal" setting I cannot remember which.

What version firmware does your PM3 have?

Main menu --> More Options --> Utilities --> Product ID

If it's an old version then download http://software.concept2.com/logcard/Co ... tup630.exe and run that. It will get the latest firmware from Concept2.com and install it on your PM3.

OK. You're right up to date with that.

Send an email to Digitial Rowing, they should be able to explain that error code.
