Please sign me up for the fall challenge.
I will be rowing about 40k per week.
Is there anything I need to do, other than request being added?
Cheers.

once you've joined the team from your c2 log book, you need to join the fall challenge.

Getting Added to the Fall Challenge Team

Post by Kona2 » September 12th, 2011, 12:11 am

Looks like Kim is now signed on to the challenge team! Thanks to all who have passed along some helpful advice on how to get signed on to the challenge teams. It can be a murky road to navigate.

Had a bit of a reminder that when getting out of the vehicle for some wildlife photos, the subject of the photo can sometimes cross the road a bit more quickly than the photographer can return to that vehicle....you know that bit on the side mirror that says "objects are closer than they appear"? Whoa. Big gal, this moose. At least two feet taller than my vehicle....and she was going for ramming speed. Fortunately all worked out okay.

Look at those beady little nearsighted eyes.....

Appears that Jim K and his associated ID numbers are struggling with a virus. Perhaps the fix that was found the last time this occurred will work again. If so, team members who were accidentally bumped out of the team will have to go into their profiles and unselect the bit that says hide profile from rankings, etc. Strange thing, this.

An update on this situation:

Jim says that he was entering meters when something like a remote log in occurred. He's been able to re-enter some of the team (family members), but others will have to apply the fix noted above. Will contact Concept2 to see what we can do here. Anyone else have any suggestions?

Woohoo and hooyah ! Congratulations, Kristine, on adding ANOTHER marathon finish to your growing list of accomplishments! All that good training paid off with a fine result ! Woot !

Those on Facebook may have noted that Kristine has run this race all SEVEN times in its existence. Training involved steep hills and running gravel roads....whoa. Hope she will give us the scoop on what this challenging race is really all about...I think she's been holding back on how much this one really takes for its participants. No wimps, for sure !

Who let the moose loose?
Hello, fellow Luna-tics,
After a summer of travel, (and rediscovering bicycles!), and avoiding the web as much as practable, I (and Brandy) am back.
Looks like I missed about 100 pages  . Anyway, greetings to all, and lets all kick in some FTC meters :D .
Slow and Steady is my pace, so it seems,
Slow and Steady wins the race, in my dreams.
