Our team is in 13th place with 5,087,767 meters. We finished last year in 12th place with 10,960,223 meters. I predict that we'll finish this year's challenge with the same number of meters, but still be in 13th place. The VTC is more competitive this year so we need to kick things up a notch.

Let's go!!! Warm your can of silicone spray and get those flyweheels spinning!!!!

Note: Please don't actually spray your erg with anything. It might void the warranty, or make it smell like breast implants... I'm not sure which.
Note to the note: This is a family friendly forum. I apologize if anyone was offended by the b-word. Personally, I like think they're great.

It was actually nearly 3 degrees as I finished :)

ETA: I hadn't even noticed the minus sign. Colder than I thought then.

An update from Concept2 for those who chose Charity:Water as your Holiday Challenge Charity (in 2010 that is...)

And I thought my life is tough-that is until I see 697 people who didn't even have a good water supply. Now I feel pretty good about the little bit I did.

Sorry, team, I may be out for a bit, rowing-wise. I've developed bad tendinitis in my right shoulder and forearm, and it's only getting worse with rowing. I'm hoping if I take a few days off it will heal up a bit, but having to hit about 10k a day to stay with my goal probably isn't going to happen...
