Our team is in 13th place with 5,087,767 meters. We finished last year in 12th place with 10,960,223 meters. I predict that we'll finish this year's challenge with the same number of meters, but still be in 13th place. The VTC is more competitive this year so we need to kick things up a notch.

An update from Concept2 for those who chose Charity:Water as your Holiday Challenge Charity (in 2010 that is...)

Great news from our 2010 Holiday Challenge: our water project in Gatet Village, Rwando through charity: water is complete! Those who donated to this cause may enjoy knowing that 697 people now have access to clean and safe drinking water because of your efforts. What a great way to donate those erg meters!

Sorry, team, I may be out for a bit, rowing-wise. I've developed bad tendinitis in my right shoulder and forearm, and it's only getting worse with rowing. I'm hoping if I take a few days off it will heal up a bit, but having to hit about 10k a day to stay with my goal probably isn't going to happen...
