Treadmill, weights, stretches at the Y. 500m @ 1:53 as an afterthought. Left hand getting better. Rattled that one off with some handle force. Jack

Nothing to train for especially, no session is like this. A 2 k after some pretty fast shorter work simply bites. For the ctc it pays of to look at people around you in other ctc to to give you an idea for pacing. Still think you could have it off. I felt like hd down from 600 meter to the last minute. most often I pull through but sometimes, the handke goes down.
I once hd on a 5 k with 4300 meter in......
I guess you are right. Maybe it helps to know the feeling and then bite through it nonetheless. btw: I know pretty much what is said by it but what does the acronym hd stand for exactly?

Sounds like back to business soon. Let it heal properly though!

Did a 1hr UT2 (first half HR cap 130) and UT1 (scnd half HR cap 145) at SPM 22/24. 8 hours on the Autobahn tomorrow.

He is flipping the handle even prior to putting it down. Looks fitter than what he is doing. I am wondering why he wears a beanie?!

Galeere, I am obligated to make you aware that the human "subject" of the linked video is banned from this forum and any and all discussion of said subject is verboten by the current forum moderator. I will be happy to talk about the curious HDs by private message. August C2CTC appears to dovetail nicely with Pete Plan submax 2k endurance. Drop the reps to 3 and the rest to 3' and sit ready.

I'm ready to get back to work. All this talk about 2K and HD has me boggled up. I'm picking up where I left off next week. If it's alright, I am going to do all the workouts in progression but only do 2 hard ones a week rather than 3. So I will be behind you men.

Today I went 1200 meters (funny but sad story associated with that) then ran in anger for 4 miles up and down the hills in my neighborhood and then did a blind 2K to see what that would do (was able to handle 1:48 ish even after all the other BS) and then another 2K at whatever.

Good work Glenn. I guess you and me will hit the sub 7 mark on a good day. On a bad day - oh well.....

Not sure when that good day will be! Need to get my head out of my arse at some point. I might give it another shot this week just to finish one, but otherwise I'm moving on! This morning I was going OK but getting toward the moment of truth. My lovely wife, with good intention, came in and said "wait! Are you under or over where you should be? Wait! It looks like you are over halfway? And that was enough for my pea brain to synapse and then promptly lay it down. I know I am getting there, just have to get out of my own way and to tell the truth, it ain't worth all the worry I've been giving it. I think I will get as fit as I can and then give it my best at the Atlanta Erg Sprints in February. Otherwise, I will just take Ed's advice and throw some 2K's into the mix every now and again to hopefully lessens the drama.

As Greg said, train hard and the PB´s will come by on their own. You have been training hard and continue to do so, so that is what happened ( for example I recall a nice 30min PB) and will continue to happen.
