Yes, totally get that. Sorry, I was probably giving a poor description. I'm talking about some of the paces people on the forum are busting out on the ski erg relative to their pbs on the concept 2 rower, e.g. I may be faster or as fast on the rower but at this early stage, very slow on the ski erg!

Your 2k and 5k are way faster than mine on the rowErg, but on the skierg my 8x500 2r is 1:42 average B)
This is clearly not because I am stronger or fitter, but very likely a technique problem on your side, as you just started.
For me I can say, typically skierg is ~5s/500m slower than rowErg.

And I have to say, Skierg is only part of my gym routine, so I do much less meters on it, compared to rowErg, which I have at home. The fitness clearly comes from the rower, but the technique must be learned at the skierg, obviously. 360km helped a lot for this, but certainly not a pro at the skierg :lol:
