I love a good mystery! Looking at your log, Barbara, you appear to have posted the same workout twice on February 2. (Same date, distance, time, and "half" number.)

If everything goes well I'll row 20k/day in February. 'with the timedifference and time delay to put the numbers in the system, sometimes this will give 60k/day)
For March the plan is to go up to 30k/day... and normally something more for the challenge.

greets from Belgium

A former world record holder created a "sweat proof" book of erg workouts that fits under the footstretchers on the erg.

"FROM THE WEBSITE:
ERG: 75 workouts for athletes, brings together erg workouts, warm ups and cool downs to take your rowing and erging to the next level. These workouts come from the pages of Lisa Schelnker's training journal and are many of the workouts she used while training on the US Rowing National Team and preparing for the Olympics.

If you are just beginning on the indoor rower, start with the Beginner and Intermediate workouts. For those athletes that are looking for a strong complement to their training regimen, the Advanced workouts are for you: steady state, AT, and interval work. The ruhige KraftÔÌ workouts are 20 workouts Lisa used as she trained for her key competitions, including the Olympics and CRASH-B's."

Looks like something I'll put on my wish list for Birthday's, Mother's Day, etc.

a challenge from Timbuktoo

Post by brotherjim » February 6th, 2010, 1:50 pm

Hi Luna-tics,
I am challenging my team and yours if you want to join in. It is a Super Bowl challenge. I was thinking rowing 200 meters for every point scored in the game (combined) You could row during the game or Monday. It may be a high scoring game so I am suggesting 200 meters. If the total points are 40 that would be 8000. Sorry, duh, I am used to talking to kids.
Jim
