Hey Teammates!!

I'm sorry I have been sluggish in posting my meters from waaaay back. I've been rowing, you just didn't know about it! I've been running also, which I think has boosted my endurance on the rower. It's all good here. Two of my kids are in school now, so I'm hoping that translates to less days missed on the rower. We'll see. I'm up for the Fall Challenge! Bring it on! Thanks Izz and Lisa for keeping up with all of us and our comings and goings. Let's have a great September!

Cindy

Team, after talking with our Captain I would like us all to take a proactive approach to recruiting new members. We al know this Team is great, but without continued dedication to recruit an array of different members who are looking for a team we can't show the rest of the erging community.

Please join me in trying to sell the team ideals to those looking!!

Seconded!
It's frustrating to me for TimbukTWO to be among the top leaders in meters-per-person, and still end up behind teams that have only one thing over us: Numbers!
After our Battle of the Titans last March, our Affiliation Team slipped in the standings from 8-9th Place to 14th. We've since slowly climbed back into the 11-12th range, and only getting stronger.
In the Team Challenges, we sunk a bit more than that, because a few of our top rowers got mad that they were "unloaded" from the team right before a Challenge (last March) without warning. (I wasn't too pleased that we had to slap together a team at the last minute, either.) We need to do some extra promotion to make up for them - or even make an attempt to get them back now that our team is very stable.
With only a few more members, we could be back in the Top Ten both in Affiliation Standings & in challenges like the FTC... Hmmm, I like that idea!

Greetings-
I'm happy to be here and can't wait for the Fall Team Challenge. I've been logging for a month and just passed 100k. I think it will be easy to maintain that pace for the FTC, but my goal is 160k. This seems like the time to join a team, but I plan to remain active long after the FTC.

Welcome to our new Team TimBukTWO rowers who are here for the Fall Challenge! Great to have you aboard!!

I also want to encourage you to join our year-round affiliation -- that's the "TimBukTOO" affiliation... (yes, it's conFOOsing...) It's what we're reporting stats on daily at this point in the posts above. When the Fall Challenge gets underway, we will also report stats daily on everyone's progress in that challenge here as well.

To join the affiliation, go to your online logbook, click the Profile tab, then Edit Profile. Scroll down to the Affiliation setting and select TimBukTOO from the list, and save your changes with the Update Profile button at the bottom.

Welcome to the boat!! :D
