Some great metres posted guys! Let's keep rowing together and enjoy the last few days of summer in good health.

Lisa,
Thanks for standing in as our Captain.
I am struggling to juggle my time and fit in workouts.
I travel a bit with my job- which complicates my schedule- there are times when I am not sure what day of the week it is.
You are doing a great job helping to keep our virtual team together and I appreciate that.
I know it is not easy.

Also, just a reminder that the Fall Team Challenge is coming up starting September 15th! I'm sure Izz will sign our team up, but then we each will need to join the challenge. For more information, see the The Fall Team Challenge page.

Sorry, guys, have been on vacation, & dropped my Dell as soon as I arrived in NY, knocked out the receptor for the power cord that's soddered to the motherboard. My friend's son-in-law is a data recovery pro & computer repair dude (his business is named Technical Difficulties), & he told me not to use it until I take out that floating piece of metal, as it can short out the motherboard, video card, etc. So, I've been somewhat incommunicado, haven't even checked e-mails in a week. (I must admit, I don't mind being somewhat disconnected from Al Gore's Invention.)
Been doing mostly "family obligation" stuff, like Wednesday's almost-full-day party for my father's 80th birthday. Didn't get to do any exercise from Thursday to Thursday, when I got in 12 miles on a stationary bike plus 15 minutes on a treadmill, at a hotel we stayed at.
Ready to spend tomorrow driving home the whole day, Monday catching up at work, and then getting back on my C2 for some serious meters over the next month or two. (I had done a 6:46.3 on a 2K the week before I left on vacation, and I'd like to see if I can break 6:30 this season. My PB is 6:42.3.)
Hope I can get a way to recharge my batteries (a dead Dell that still can hold a charge?), or a new computer, in the next few days.
Miss you guys and rowing... Sorry for laying this one on Lisa so hard and so long...

Busted as the slacker I am!! I have to admit I haven't been "yanking my own chain" much of late... We are having an exceptionally cool summer here (apologies to the Heartland and the East) so have been primarily running and swimming. I'm sure it will heat up here any day now, and I'll put the A/C on and take refuge on the rower for the Fall Challenge!!

Now if you will excuse me, I'm off into the fog for a good 12-miler or so to get the day started. (Yes, fog!)

Hey Everyone,

Just got back from Vacation in Beautiful Falmouth, Cape Cod.... Not a C2 in site. Hated to come back to chores and work....

Oh well, will try to squeeze in my rowing today and plan on the Fall Challenge...here's hoping I can go right back to 5,000 meters. I don't know how you all do it.

Happy Running Lisa!
