LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
"Hope it was a good 70K walk for Baz! Could it be the Canberra International Walking Weekend?"
Turned out to be about 60klm and a good walk; A friend is walking about 240klms over the next 10 days, so I did the first two days...plenty of hilly terrain and the body refused to budge this morning when I suggested a row. Hopefully I'll get one in later today and tomorrow. Wednesday I will be on holidays for the balance of this challenge.....
So good luck to all

WRC 2009 Update: Team Progress Thru 4.05.09
Woohoo! We're going to hit TEN million just about anytime now! Hope you are meeting some personal goals along the way - we're just glad you took time to row for YOU - and as a member of the WRC Luna-Tics team. Collectively, we rowed an impressive 316,441 m yesterday! Good stuff!
Two-thirds of the way through this challenge, and we're ranked number 8 in the rowing universe, and # 5 among virtual clubs. Ninety-one percent of those who signed on with the team are contributing meters! That's amazing!

Walking vs rowing vs biking vs....
We all know we're getting a great workout with our Concept2 rowing machines.....just wish the muscle memory would transfer to all the different sports that we do!

Acclimatizing to the new atmosphere
Hello Mitch
Saying hello to all on planet earth. The view is great from here. My lungs have never felt better. I'm setting new records for myself that i didn't know I had in me. Feeling very proud to be on this mission.

We've passed the TEN million meter mark! We rowed 499,965 m yesterday (well, part of today, too - I am a bit later than usual getting this posting put together).
I'd say that Wild Bill (William H) is going to surpass the one million meter mark before this challenge is done....and I am simply astounded at the number of milestones that we've all passed! Great contributions from everyone....and thank you for rowing with the Luna-Tics team in this challenge!
