I estimate that you probably used about 200g of glycogen during that row. I was wrong above, the water associated is actually 4 times the weight of the glycogen, so I would expect that you would lose 1kg if you stayed as hydrated. I know I drink too much when I have the chance when rowing, I assume because we are looking for the drink to cool us that we are not just looking to replace required fluid loss.
