ll I can say to that lot, 8sWwr2, is Bloody Hell! I'll stick them out to the end of the course and see how I feel. :shock:

What bothers me most in the statin linkfest is the mention of combinatory (synergism) mechanisms in creation of associated adverse effects. Something to that old saw about strong medicine that it will kill you or cure you. Or both at once. As of late December last, I’m still posing for the annual rotorooter calendar but I’m off the daily Drano. My second failure to follow orders.

Stop taking the statin temporarily and see how you feel. Make an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible. These symptoms may be due to the statin, but they also could be caused by something else. You need proper medical diagnosis to find out. If it is the statin, your doctor could reduce the dosage, have you change to another statin, or stop its use entirely.
