There are those mornings when the early light is different enough that you find yourself saying "it looks weird." Today is one of those days where the light had the kind of color you might see when it's hurricane season. We are in for some brutal cold - prediction is a high of minus 3 F to a low of minus 16 on Thursday. Reindeer will need some super windproofing to navigate in this kind of front! Remembrances of living in Alaska where temperatures were in the minus 50s, and the family gathered around the open door of the oven....shiver me timbers.

Meanwhile, many Lunie reindeer are in the "in between" spaces of one milestone to the next! The time is short to get to your chosen destination! Don't settle for less ! In the overall Challenge, we now have 20,051 participants and over half of them have reached the initial 100 K. For the 200K and completion of the Challenge, overall we have 2,658 participants. Like a meter tsunami, the numbers will jump as the next days get completed! We are currently at $43.4 K of the $70 K target that Concept2 has pledged!
