Seeing many, MANY different sized cannisters of this oxygen - in stores, at airports, at Nordic ski centers. Not meant to replace medically prescribed O2, but touted for sport, recreational and post-hangover use. Snort.

Sorry for being a little late... I was making rather merry.
So, what'll it be? Let me know your virtual drink orders for this Loony New Year.
(You can send me a private message or post it in the forum.)
Thinking of decorating 10 Forward, but not sure which way to go.
Image I may need to mull this over...

Excellent! I'm looking forward to the annual virtual party in 10 Forward. I would enjoy a flute (or two!) of Champagne, and AJ requests Cognac. Much appreciated!

Thanks, danwho, for agreeing to be our virtual bartender in Ten Forward! I think champagne this year - it’s a good close out the year AND start the year beverage. K2

Image Tomorrow...

All 50 US states participate in the January 1st First Day hikes (although depending upon location, this may include snowshoeing, biking, fishing, etc.). Naturally you may want to fit this activity in around your planned First Day Erging. Check your state's Division of Parks and Wildlife for events near you. Might provide an opportunity to try out those new trekking poles that fold up and snap into place like some kind of extended nunchucks....

Meanwhile, the predicted snowfall is arriving a few hours early. Temperatures are falling into the mid-teens, and it looks like an excellent day to get some indoor erging into the meter piggy bank.

Whooooooosh!! That's the sound of you and your erg flying through ANOTHER month and ANOTHER calendar year!!! You knew that was coming!

Happy New Year, Lunies! Here's wishing you the best year ever!

Image Ready...set...GO!

The January Challenge is a twofer. One part January Revolutions, where you select your goal for stretch, haul or burn - or the more intense version of any of those three, and the other part January Virtual Team Challenge. Must admit that when I first signed on this AM, and note that 2019 is not even 12 hours old here in the Rocky Mountains, I thought perhaps I'd forgotten to enroll the team in the Challenge. Looking down the list of teams, I saw that there were indeed some Lunies who have input meters into the Team Challenge Meter Piggy Bank...but hooboy! We were only at spot 26! Yikes. Oh well, it's early in the day and we can each do something about it!

Image
Seriously. We will have our virtual landing in 2019, and it will be sooner than July!

And if the Luna calendar page graphics appeal to you, Gladstone Media produced a 2019 calendar of Space Vacations. It is very campy and has fun graphics and destinations throughout.
