Oh, good grief, no, Richard! It's been taking me a way-long-time to finish a 10K ... and, I ain't getting any faster! I'm wondering how the fitbit will recognize my upcoming biking efforts ... I only get a fraction of fitbit steps from the row-erg. (See ... I've started saying "row-erg," in anticipation of "bike-erg.") I do, however, already have my bike bell.

Love the Bell Chris They also have a basket and helmet . Hope they don't deliver your Bike while you are at the beach.

You can manually log bike "steps" on the Fitbit app. Or some of us just hook the Fitbit through shoe laces when biking on a training bike and steps get counted. The rowing step count just does not happen with Fitbit....I used to lament that I would get less than 10K steps for a half marathon....until I started thinking about active minutes of exercise as the target instead of just the steps.

Mrs Stevenson (aka K2) I have a fit bit as you know I don't use it. But I did bring it out test it on one of my Rowers. This is what I found if you after the catch you bring the handle above your chest and lean back. It will count steps Just fine. You might even find your times increase. Next I will test it on One of stationary bikes I know it works on my Schwinn Air Dyne and my ski erg. Hope this helps Ladies Oh one Last note for you K2 Corky wants to invite those blonde bomb shells K9's to his Birthday Party this week

Ok just got off stationary bike will count steps. 1. if you put watch hand on leg and rotate leg 2. if you sit up straight and throw punches. Or Like you say K2 put on ankle or shoe. This why I don't use it . When I hit the speed bag it counts steps

Corky's second birthday already. Not a pup anymore. But maybe a little young for all those blonde K9 bomb shells.

And, as our Astrogator noted, there are also Minnie red/white dotted bike shorts ... it's a whole new and exciting consumer world! C-2 hasn't dinged my card, yet, so there are at least 2-days before the bike-ergs ship ... then, it's gonna take a while to make its way across the country. I should be home again by the time it's delivered. I'm ever so happy that there's a way to make the fitbit work with spinning!
Happy Birthday, Corky.

BG, wow! I'll never know how you do what you do. David A way to rockem.
Corky, go for it buddy! Happy birthday.
So far I'm still in the dog day house. Two more sleeps and I get to see my big brother. He swings by the land of the leaf once or twice a year from the states. Sorry Santa but Jamie is far more amusing. He used to make fun of me when I was a weight lifter. "no pain ... no pain". That was always my fave one.
Have fun all
Keep on rock'n.
