Thanks Mike - the 2k was unopposed and I had a pretty ordinary erg with a dodgy chain so I chose to cruise a bit so I can live with the 7:10. Shirley is in fine form and exceeded her own expectations a bit as she hasn't raced much in the past few years. She is still very strong. We did dinner as well. Allan is also in very good shape and I suspect will be a very competitive 65+ next year. (I last met him 12 years ago at my first ever race day on holiday in NZ)
