Our resident artist has granted your Seahawks request, Ed, with the canoe emblem ! Pretty good win yesterday, too.
Awesome I remember that hat now - all three of my passions Rowing, Masters and Seahawks! Couldn't be any better!

The Hawks looked good - worth getting up at 3am to watch. Thank God for sling box... keep in touch with home.
Kudos to Ed for churning out the marathons, an amazing feat whether done once or a hundred times! Congrats to all Luna-tics earning canoes, working on joining you soon  !

And now for a math problem since we are so numbers focused...it's a Grand Avenue comic (and I don't think I've posted it before..but you never know): I would have answered this question just like this! Btw, ask your local media to carry some of these gems...

Not so mighty Thor.

HI Lunes
I’ve gotten a few messages lately asking if I’m ok. Yes, I am sort of ok but not able to row right now. I do hope to join you in the VCT but I can’t say just yet. Just a minor medical issue that has gone bad. It is getting better though.
I am watching my fellow team mates cranking out the meters and I am proud of you all. Keep up the good work and as always …
Keep on rock’n.

I miss watching you accumulate the meters. Trying to keep up with you is turning this old, cynical dog into a younger one! I hope the healing process ends soon. Tombeur

Hi Team,

Took the day off to watch the college football national champion ship this morning 3am. I rowed the entire game and a little extra to get enough meters in to surpass 37 million lifetime meters. The towel still works - but that much sitting I was hurting some.

Great game - Congratulations Clemson on a well deserved win...

Happy Rowing,

Ed

For those who don't know me, I am an on-the-water-rower from New Haven, CT who does not erg much between the months of April and November as my time is spent on the water. I tend not to follow the forum as much when I am on the water, so I am a bit out of touch. Kudos to everyone on all the accomplishments you have made.

Usually I jump back on the erg and become more engaged in the forum starting with the holiday challenge. This year was the first year since 2008 that I have not done that challenge. I had a shoulder injury. Luckily it wasn't a tear and surgery wasn't needed, but I had to stop rowing back in August and never made it back on the water this year. Through PT and cortisone shots it has gotten much better. I have been procrastinating getting back on the erg, but feel that it is about time that I do. I will be signing up for the Jan. challenge, but want you to know that my performance will be minimal compared to what I have done in past years.

I probably won't be checking the forum all the time, so don't hesitate to send me a personal message if you have a question for me.

Happy New Year!

Karyn
Sorry about your injury.
I glad to hear it is getting better. I wish you a full recovery soon.
Any participation is good for you and the team.

I'm sorry we don't hear from Ron any more, but it is nice to see that he is back rowing hard for the challenge.

Hi David A,
Yes I'm still around. I am monitoring the forum and continue to be impressed with all my teammates' achievements. I just have gotten out of the habit of posting.

Belated HAPPY NEW YEAR and best wishes of health and happiness to all Lunies!

You are all amazing and energizing, though some achievements, like Ed's, leave me floored...
Missed the Forum for some time, though worked hard to get to the 200k meters needed for the antler lights during the last minutes alloted for te challenge .
Hope to qualify for the paddle in the Virtual Team Challenge :) .

Happy rowing!

Andrea
