A) Whoever started the thread spelled Cincinnati wrong.
Sorry, I did briefly think of checking but it looked right and I'm naturally slothful.

I see Ranger entered 6:24 as his estimated time.

Anyone know if he rowed at all?
Ranger finished first in his classification, with a 6:37.1. He needed 6:37.6 to qualify for a trip to Boston.

I know for me at least, that I do better if I have somebody close to me. That pushes me to try harder to make sure I beat them.
In Ranger's race, however, notice there was nobody within about 125 m of him, so I would expect to do better with more competition. (This is regardless of the length or quality of his postings.)

Ranger always likes to wear a cap when he races.

I was hoping to break 7:30 myself, and I finished with a 7:26.7, so I was happy. It does, however, show how little power I have compared to my endurance. My SB for 10 km is at 1:57.1, but my 2 km was at 1:51.7, and was trying my hardest.

David (and others),

The pdf with all the results is now in the www.cjrc.net website.

Great meeting you in person at the races!

Ranger rowed in the heat before mine. He was only one of two rowers to qualify for Boston last Sunday.
