Hi Folks
Am in Scotland for New Year taking a dip in Loch Ken with the mad locals tomorrow at 10. Will try and not drink too much tonight,
Tried a 1k. !st attempt resulted in handles down as went off like a bat out of hell. Tried again after a rest and did 3.58.8. Am humungously ashamed of this but at least I did it and I have been out now for some time so I have an excuse. Temperence and fortitude for the New Year me thinks
Carole Will you be open for visitors next week. I have a week off so you could whip me whilst I keep your ergo oiled and unrusted. May even try a 2k and defeat the jinx. You know all about that eh?
Have a great New Year everyone

We should all have a little go with one leg and come up with the average difference we think should be applied by me to your results while you are one legged

I'm with ASH for the next challenge and vote for 10 x 1500 with 1 min recovery. Good session and fits in well with training.

Some cracking last minute 1k efforts there and I slide further down the table

Still, I'm going to have a go at training for a Marathon this year so for the next challenge I vote for 60 mins unrestricted.

Matt,

I'd like to vote for 10k as the next challenge, because it follows on nicely after 30mins, probably quite close for some of the faster members of TO

Carole,
I'd really think seriously about NOT doing much one legged rowing, it's likely to cause all sorts of awful muscle imbalances particularly in your back where you can least do with that sort of thing. Cycling on a static bike would probably be much better just now, I would think, with some weight training for upper body stuff.
Best of luck though, I do know how frustrating this is and hats off to you for trying to keep something going while you're crocked!
Lee (Saunders)
