I think some members doubts are funded, more so because they compete on almost the same level on the rankings. Even if it's an honour system, still some proof has to be delivered.

What if some unknown guy ranks #1 rankings year after year, but that same guy never shows up in racing or does not deliver any shroud of proof. Wouldn't most members doubt those times. It's not much different to the case of a contributing member to this forum that ranks those #1 times.

It begs the question why Dwayne does not silence his doubters with one easy to deliver piece of evidence. Digicams are quite common in our western world, be it photo or video it's not too hard to deliver something that will silence his doubters forever.

Well said hjs.

Dwayne can't prove anything. NO ONE HAS EVER SEEN HIM ROW A SUB 7.00. at a public event, no data for any row he has ever done, nothing at all for millions and millions of meters rowed, no detailed information on any PB he has ever rowed.

He is caught up in his little world; it has spiralled out of control. He could save face and just admit his wrong doings, but somehow I don’t think he will.

He could turn up at a race and row a sub 6, but some how I don't think that will happen.

We can see the Dwayne Adams cheerleaders flapping their gums again and defending him, It is a shame they can’t back up their belief in his abilities and donate to his fund so we can all see him race and pull at least a sub 6.00 2000m in a public event.

Just goes to show they are just talkers and not do’ers,
<turn on joke function>

I propose we start doing drug and doping testing for all erg athletes at every venue race, plus sophisticated DNA testing to determine sex, as well as possible cloneing of human beings. As well, anyone found with materials in their possession allowing intravenous transfusions for blood doping will be banned from our sport for a minimum of 24 months, or two days, depending on how many beers they buy the Erging Anti Doping Committee, of which I will gladly volunteer to be part.

Jacking of ergs will still be allowed, as will the use of slides, as will the use of power drills and funky "Y Connectors" to "cheat" the PM3. Use of psychics, to predict optimum paces and rates will still be banned. Anyone using one will be summarily burned at the stake, along with said psychic.

What did I miss?

Oh yes, if you can crack the PM3's sophisticated encryption routines, we will send you a Rubik's Cube personally autographed by Dwayne Adams.

Did I cover everything?

<turn off joke function>

I think we will never find out the truth. Unless Dwayne confesses his sins.

I do hope though that C2 will think off a better way to moniter the rankingsystem. Many people don,t care but on the hand many others do. So there should be some sort off way to prevent cheating. If you come within a certain % of the WR there should be proof. And we all know that almost anybody in that range races in public, so it would not be that hard to do so.
What is your point on this view? And if anybody else has an idea. Please come forward. maybe we can find a way to get this discusion moving.
