I'm glad you both will be showing your National Pride.

I read on one of the threads that the Eh! Team was pressing for you to join. Especially as Yukon John is family.

My husband has been complaining of not feeling well and needing to exercise more. I am trying to convice him to row "just for the month of January." He much prefers biking but hasn't done it seriously in years.

Susan

Since your husband can't join the Ducks why don't you ask him if he would like to join The Eh Team. Not only would he be involved in helping a fun bunch in the challenge, he would also be helping us in our quest to row around the world. Plus getting in shape in the process. Shannon got me into rowing last summer. I lost 17 pounds (lightweight now!) and I'm in the best shape I've been in years.

I will pass on your invitation to join to my husband, John!
It would be fun to watch the updates and put a marker on our globe at home. Do you have your route picked out?

Susan
Last I heard this was the tentative course:
(We have two people on the team who are from Peru and Isreal, so the course was designed to pass by their homes.)
St. John's
Ireland
London
Paris
Rome
Africa
Israel
Middle East
India
Singapore
Australia
Sydney
Auckland
French Polynesia
Peru
Cuba
Vermont
about 41, 285 kilometers!
We'll probably do the world map and pins too. Although at the Eh Team home page
http://216.119.121.169/Cross%20Canada%2 ... dex.htm there is a link to Google Earth. If you haven't seen it, you should check it out, Very Cool and educational too!
Hi Yukon John,

My hubby and I were sitting on the couch and read through the "Row Across Canada" forum. We especially loved all the pictures. It was facinating. I love the globe.

We'll see if he get's inspired in January. He thinks it might be difficult to get on the rower as Danae and I both row. I did see for the first time that there is a certificate for the 6 and under to row 5000 m.

Merry Christmas!
Susan
